WTF Empty?

It warms my empty little heart to think that in the past month this site received over 2,500 unique visitors from 6 different continents, 65 Countries/Territories and 718 cities across our empty little world. I have so much music that I would like to share with you but sometimes life gets in the way of doing so. I'm not the type of person who gets way personal on the internets but I would like you to know two things; 1) I plan to be doing this for a very long time do come. Who knows, I might even pick the video camera back up? 2) I'm not always going to be the Empty of old with the 48 hour turn around. Sometimes when you make archiving the music you cherish to the core your sole purpose you end up alone and really, who wants to die alone?

Friends on the local front have been persistent about hearing the recent Tips for Twat set from The Turf Club which is great because I'd rather people be persistent than ambivalent. Therefore Tips for Twat will be posted next. It's partially tracked and the CD Wave cue sheet is waiting to be completed. The Marijuana Deathsquads set from Wednesday will follow and since I don't record as many national bands as I used to the Dawes set from The Triple Rock is next.

Recordings are on the way from Tips for Twat, Bouncer Fighter (CD Release), The Chickadee Mountain Martyrs (CD Release), Marijuana Deathsquads, Dawes, City on the Make, Peter Wolf Crier, Lookbook (Vinyl Release), No Bird Sing, Kill the Vultures, Andrew Broder, Knife World, Bethany Larson (CD Release), Ogre Smash Death Boom and Paragraphs. That's the quick list of recent stuff. I'm sure there are others and I've also started digging into the Archive to post older stuff. Click on the "Archive" tag to follow those.

Bands I'm looking forward to catching include; Sleeping in the Aviary (always a hoot), Bitch 'N Brown (Thursday night residency at The Nomad all this month!), My Disco, Young Widows, A Storm of Light, The Appleseed Cast, The Soviettes (reunion!), Rocky Votolato, Tobacco, Cymbals Eat Guitars, The Builders & The Butchers, The Fall Of Troy, Dosh, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Caspian, Red Sparowes, DeVotchKa, Gogol Bordello, Past Lives (ex-Blood Brothers!) Murder by Death, Gayngs (get ready!), La Dispute, MONO and Josiah Wolf of Why?.

Wow, I guess now that the ice is melting more national folks are coming through. Come say hi at the show if you feel like it. I can always be reach at this email if you ever have any questions. Thank you for reading this far.
